“Big” Rob Gaertner

Coach Rob has been involved in youth/ adult baseball for over 40 years. He was a standout pitcher for Seaford High School in the 80s & played until his late 30s leading the LI Yankees to the MABL Championship in 2000. Big Rob returned to coach for the Elite program after umpiring for 6 years. Both his boys had successful Collegiate careers.. Rob playing  at Post U and Kyle at Old Westbury.  Throughout the years, Big Rob has coached over  50 kids that went on to play college baseball including a handful that went on to get drafted by MLB teams.

Coach Rob is now Retired, and resides in Wantagh.
