Yes.  All teams have paid professional coaches, both a head coach and an assistant.

All coaches are experienced and work to get the most out of every player.  Coaches strive to teach the game, and inspire our players through their leadership and commitment to team.

For the younger teams only (8u-12u), we are open to having a trusted parent with a baseball background on the bench with the kids to ensure the best experience for the kids.  Teams interested in coming under our Elite umbrella to play as a full team with a parent coach (that the team approves of), we are open to that scenario and can staff a paid assistant for the team if needed.

We do our best to keep roster sizes manageable and friendly for players and coaches.

Youth (8-12u), we try not to extend past 12 players per team and every player always hits and gets worked into the game.  The only exception to this might be a scenario where we are in a semi-final or championship game.

13u and up, typically rosters are capped at 13-14 players. We play things as fair as possible in our shortened spring season to give all players ample opportunity.  For summer baseball, we play to win and do our best to work all players in.  Based on our coaches evaluation, the best players command more playing time.

Travel baseball and player development is a fluid sitatuation based on player comittment to the team, being a good teammate, baseball IQ, injuries, performance, player projectability etc.

Yes, we have tiers of teams.

For our youth program (8-12u), we do have tiered teams but don’t like the labeling of ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ teams.  We believe at this age there is so much more room for growth, improvement and development.

13u & up, we create the most competitive teams possible, our Prospect team being our highest caliber team at each level.  13u through 15u is most challenging as certain players still aren't developed physically and mentally. We do our best to place each player where they will have the most on field opportunity. Ultimately the player's performance and attitude will dictate his team.

For our 16u & 17u teams, all players in the program are considered part of the Prospect Program.

We always want to keep continuity amongst our teams and grow them organically season to season. Keeping core groups that work well together is always the plan of attack.  Turnover amongst the rosters does happen for a variety of reasons because we are always looking to approve the team.  But if a full team that is excelling together returns, we won’t reinvent the wheel.

All indoor training is location at our indoor facility, Common Sense Baseball located at 75D Rushmore Street Westbury NY 11590.

Outdoor practices are located on a variety of local fields all in Nassau County.

15U/16u and up players in our program will be considered potential college bound athletes. Interested players in our program will be enrolled in a college recruitment service, Sports Recruits. Sports Recruits is an interactive platform that connects players with college coaches throughout the country at all levels (JUCO/D1/D2/D3/NAIA). In addition, it allows your son to lay out an academic profile, on and off the field achievements, as well as performance driven video. This service is included in the program for all Elite players.

We have also aligned with an additional/optional recruitment service which we highly recommend. Recruit U:  https://www.recruitullc.com/
