Steven Goldstein

Steven Goldstein is a head coach at Long Island Elite Baseball, bringing elite-level playing experience and a modern, individualized coaching style to one of the region’s most competitive youth programs. Known for his deep knowledge of hitting and player mindset, Steven leads with a focus on development, preparation, and game-ready execution.

A Long Island native, Steven was a 3× All-Conference selection at St. Dominic High School and was ranked the #1 prospect on Long Island by Blue Chip Prospects. He played Division I baseball at Stony Brook University, where he was named a Louisville Slugger All-American and helped lead the Seawolves to the 2012 College World Series, highlighted by a 10th-inning home run in the Super Regional against LSU.

Steven later transferred to the University of Kansas, competing in the Big 12 Conference, where he faced top national arms on a weekly basis and gained valuable experience at the highest levels of college baseball.

During his collegiate and summer ball career, Steven played in 118 games across premier leagues including the Cape Cod LeagueNorthwoods LeagueNYCBL, and ACBL—competing alongside and against future MLB stars such as:

Aaron JudgeKyle SchwarberAlex BregmanAaron Nola, and Jeff McNeil.

As Head Coach, Steven:

  • Teaches efficient swing mechanics and situational hitting with a clear approach
  • Helps players understand how to adjust, compete, and execute at game speed
  • Balances technical instruction with mentorship, mindset, and leadership

His mission is to make players smarter, tougher, and more prepared, both on the field and beyond it.
